I love a good deal.
If you like online shopping(sometimes you have to due to the pandemic or if its something that's not available near you), you probably know about Amazon. AliExpress is the Chinese equivalent to it. It is run by Alibaba group which sources majority of products you see on Amazon.
Buying from the source can save you a lot of money, but buying from AliExpress is a totally different experience. It can work very well for you know if you understand how it works.
There are only three things you need to know:
Price is much cheaper, but ALWAYS check their reviews and reputation to find quality items
Shipping will be long (It can be as long as 20-60 days! so don't buy something you need right away)
There will be taxes added (You are literally importing goods from another country)
And that's it! So what I would buy from AliExpress are usually low-tech electronic such as speakers, flashlights, toys, or even t-shirts in bulk. There are defiantly advantage here, and it's worth a look.
